What is Christian Science treatment?

The purpose of prayerful treatment in Christian Science is to help individuals find the harmony, health, joy and accomplishment that are inherently theirs', to remove impositions and limitations on their lives that may have built up unchallenged, and to restore health, peace, and confidence.

Treatment does not involve physical contact, drugs, personal coaching or counseling, however, it usually includes a discussion of the general challenge being faced. Treatment involves the specific application of spiritual Truth to a claim of illness, discord or limitation. Because God is the only healer, the practitioner simply affirms God’s control. In-person visits between a practitioner and patient are not essential and absent treatment is the norm, though office or home visits can be arranged.

I, and those who advertise in The Christian Science Journal as practitioners, are devoted full-time to helping others through the prayer-based system explained in the book Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy. We are experienced in the healing ministry of Christian Science and available to give treatment through prayer for life challenges.

Charges

I charge $50 per day for Christian Science treatment. A 10-15 minute phone call is usually included with this Christian Science treatment. Longer phone calls and office visits are $100 per hour and can be pro rated.
